Introducing The Original Bare Boxers 

Since the exciting launch of our Bare Collection last year we have really fallen in love with creating eco-friendly, softer than soft, bamboo lounge lingerie for all you ladies. We've loved seeing our Bare Bamboo Triangle Bra become a best seller and the compliments and reviews have been so heart warming and fantastic to hear.

However, this year we have decided it's rather selfish of us to keep all this luxury indulgence to ourselves. So, with no further a due, we very proudly announce that we have officially launched Bare Man. An eco-friendly collection of Bare Boxers in a range of colours to reflect our Bare collection for Janay Lingerie. 

Bare Man became a new concept back in 2016, after a high rise in popularity for our Bare Bamboo collection, we received many compliments and enquiries from men wanting to know when and if we planned to make any menswear. So much so that we simply had to look into the idea and began trials. As the first menswear collection we went through trial after trial to get our Bare Boxers just perfect, after all fit and comfort are everything. 

We took the first steps to knowing what men wanted from their underwear. We asked as many men as we could the same questions, do you prefer briefs, boxers or trunks?, what do you want your fabric to feel like?, how would you like the fit to feel?, and lastly and the question we found the most interesting, do you actually utilise the buttons or gap in the front of your boxers? They all said no! 

Knowing what men wanted we began working on the pattern, this was rather a big task as Designer Janay Eleanor was only ever educated in creating women's lingerie, so learning a men's pattern was a welcome challenge. We trialled and tested a few initial samples, co-founder Jamie Fraser was very enthusiastic to wear these samples out and about, to travel in and even to the gym. They really had to be comfortable and functional for every man's lifestyle. 

After a few tweeks we were very happy with the fit, style and overall look and we proudly created the final boxer. We chose the most comfortable banding, the right width and stretch. Then branded our very own Bare Man labels to complete the boxers. 

We have launched our Bare Man Boxers in Black, Coral, Khaki, Beige Grey and Black and Grey Stripe, we hope that you adore them as much as we do! Enjoy the ultra softness of Bare Bamboo.
